Abstract
Purpose: To demonstrate the demand of knit apparel products, and make a case for implementation of new knitting technologies to further bolster the U.S. reshoring movement. Design/methodology/approach: time-series analysis with ARIMA forecasting model Findings: A positive relationship of several knit apparel imports, explaining the consumer demand for these product categories and the need for investment in these areas.
