New Methods of Assessment of Fabric Drape

Abstract

New methods and parameters are proposed for measuring drape of fabric in the present research paper. The authors also consider that using flat fabric methods does not accurately reflect garment drape. This paper avoids the usual cumbersome methods of assessment of projected drape area including image analysis techniques and replaces by a new geometrical analysis technique.
